   Edge computing and cloud computing are crucial today, but for different things.



Cloud Computing

It means of processing and storing data which leaves room for scalability and flexibility. Such a service is useful when several applications like big data analytics or web-hosting come into the picture.

Edge Computing

However, edge computing operates close to the origin of the data, reducing latency and increasing more real-time responses in it. At such a moment, this happens to be quite an essential requirement for IoT devices and applications that possibly require instant data analysis.

Key Differences

Latency: The Edge minimizes delay; the cloud might introduce latency.

Scalability: The cloud will easily scale its resources; edge focuses on processing at a local level.

Conclusion

 thereby making it possible to reach optimum efficiency through fast data processing along with scalable solutions.
